I looked to wards her my eyes rested on her as she laid there silent as silent seemed to of gotten. I didn't mind that at all. My ears tilted back with care and my eyes were relaxed, my body just lay there I wasn't really to stressed out anymore or even concerned about her answer unless it was a good answer. My ears lifted and I saw her mouth start to move. My eyes on her and my body tensed. My heart kept at a slow steady pace. My eyes on her still not moving an inch, not even to blink. She accepted I suspected. How did I approach this? I inhaled deeply , my chest puffed out. My nostrils widened and I decided to speak. ’'Eclipse... I know we do not know much of each other, but you are my beta... MY beta. And I want you as MY mate. I want you at my side.' I lifted my head a bit and my ears flicked back slightly as I looked at her. I was concerned now would she bite this offer? Or was she just being foolish when she said it would be amazing. My ears lowered again at the thought. I needed to stop thinking so badly. My tail wiped the ground as my large body stood up. I was the tallest wolf in this land, and I beat Demogorgon by a few inches. I was a beefy wolf, powerful, dangerous and mostly protective. My purple eyes were kind as I stepped to wards her. My head to her level. My eyes on hers as I walked to wards her, I made my way around her in a circle as if to plot my next move, I wasn't being hostile or angry. I was lazily walking, dragging my paws. I was an affectionate guy, no one would know right? I was good at holding in emotion. My body finally found its place, I stood behind her back and my front limbs buckled in as I plopped myself behind her and curled my legs up under myself so my body was right behind hers, it got warm. I listened for her answer. My head never touched her, not yet. When she accepted I would lay it on her. If she didn't I would move away.

This was what she wanted, and she decided that if she was going to tell him, now would be a good time. After all, he had already told her that she was the beta. His beta. And probably, soon enough, his mate. How would she put it into words? Her tail swung lazily through the grass, which felt damp with evening dew. Eclipse wondered if she should meet his eyes. After all, it did seem appropriate. He might think she was kidding or even that she didn't like him. He might not believe in her strong feelings for him, but she knew he must, or, if he didn't already, he would soon. She wanted this to be perfect. No flaws would occur, nothing would go wrong. This couldn't stray off the path to perfection. "Jay," she said, emphasizing his name. Her eyes moved immediately to meet his, but she tried to not sound cheesy or ignorant or even careless. This had to be perfect. "We've never really, talked much, but I don't think we're too talkative," she said, taking great care in her words and chuckling a little to herself, "But I share your feelings, you're my alpha, and I want you as my mate." word count: 255

Purple eyes lifted as she said my name. Ears lifted as well I was listening, this was me listening. She had my full attention. Tongue licked my mouth as she spoke. I smiled at her answer. There we go, I had her. Tail swayed as I let my paws move around her. Body was curled up behind her and paws tucked up under my large body, I was much longer then her so my tail kind of wrapped around her. Ears lowered against my head and my head lowered to lay on her shoulder.

'I'm very happy right now... You have made me happy...'

My words were kind and I had a smile on my face. Tail tapped the ground as I cuddled with the female. My tongue rolled out and began to groom her neck and shoulder. I could do this for hours I loved to take care of what was mine. I had had maybe one or two mates, I never really had them, but they left me and I didn't do anything to them. Guess they got bored of me? Maybe I wasn't good enough? I never hurt one of them, and I always protected and respected them... They all ended un in Denali... thats saying something. I had a feeling Eclipse was gonna stick around.

She was the beta of an amazing pack and her amazing mate was the amazing alpha. Amazing. She went through adjectives, picking out the best ones to use in this situation. Awesome, brilliant, perfect, and they all fit, and Eclipse couldn't be happier. Her eyelids felt heavy and she tried to keep them open, but had trouble doing so. The night air swirled into her lungs and she exhaled deeply, sucking in more air every time. Jay was next to her, his purple eyes focused on her. She realized that he might appreciate her returning the favor, and moved her head slightly to look at him. Her orange eyes moved upwards slowly, blurring at some points due to her sudden tiredness. Eclipse found his purple eyes and looked into them. Jay...., she thought. What would she say back?
